Sauk Rapids-Rice offers the Storm Robotics experience to students in grades 3–5 during the school year. Now you can experience a "sampler" of what Storm Robotics is all about during the summer months! This camp would be perfect for any prospective, past, or current Storm Robotics Members that are incoming 3rd grade-incoming 5th grade. The mission of Storm Robotics is to "Build Successful Students One Robot at a Time". Through Robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), students work collaboratively as a team (Generally in small groups of 3-4 students) to design and manufacture a robot to complete various challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to learn or expand upon skills in programming, manufacturing, and engineering; while working as a small group to build robots!
