This program is intended for students who are signed up for the summer Storm Training Program. It is a way for them to familiarize themselves with the High School Weight Room, learn the routine, and get a majority of their testing done before the first day.
This is a revamped program designed to mirror what some of the top programs in the country are using to help develop fast, athletic, explosive, and healthy athletes. At Sauk Rapids-Rice, this training program will be replicated throughout the school year and within our athletic teams. Sessions will be shorter and speed will be emphasized in all aspects. Athletes in the Storm Training Program during the Summer will spend two days per week in the weight room and two days outside of the weight room working on speed and acceleration.
This session is for 6th and 8th-graders only.
