The objective of Level 4 is to develop confidence in previously learned strokes and to improve other aquatic skills. Students will increase their endurance by swimming familiar strokes for greater distances. Students will continue to build on the butterfly and introduce the elementary backstroke, breaststroke, and elements of the sidestroke. Basics of turning at a wall also introduced.
Please do not enroll your child in swim lessons unless he/she is able to stand in the shallow end of the pool with their chin above water. The depth of the pool is 42 inches in the shallow end.
- Participants must attend all 8 sessions to pass the class.
- Class size is 8 to 10 students.
- Minimum enrollment of 3 or class will be canceled.
